The number one gift of the season was a microphone from the $1.49 bin, compliments of Matt Matt. We've got another cute video of her singing, but Jerod's standing right next to her with his hands in his pants. I guess we'll save him the embarrassment this one time.

Christmas at ABC Express Part 1-- Elise

Drama of the day came while getting dressed. We'd gotten her a special outfit for the show. The hanger said 3T and we hadn't gotten around to looking any more closely. Turns out we got a 4T. Needless to say there were many safety pins involved.

Elise was more into picking at her lip than singing, but she did a fine job of applauding herself! This video thing is a work in progress. The quality is not great, I'm still trying to figure this out.

Gingerbread House

I've bought these kits for the past few years. Grandma Kathi has always helped Jerod put them together in the past, but unfortunately this year I had to be the contractor on the project. Not Good!!! I don't think it will still be standing on Christmas Day!

Elise takes to the soccer floor

At the ripe old age of three, Elise started playing YMCA soccer this fall. As with most things, it was on her terms. She had moments of greatness, but unfortunately she also threw a lot of punches. We're working on anger management.

Jerod's recital- November 10, 2007

Jerod's been in a piano class for just over a year. Since we know he'll get a music scholarship, we're spending his college fund on our patio project. Just kidding (mostly!), but check back later for the latest pictures from that endeavor.

Something new

One of my friends told me she had started a blog about her kids. I visited and was inspired to copy her.
